Your Daily Science (yourdailyscience.com) is part of Ink Horses and is owned and published by Picnic Player, a sole proprietorship in Tel Aviv. This page explains how we make what we publish about science, mysteries and strange claims, so you can judge how far to trust it.

How our articles are made

Our articles are written with the help of AI: Claude, made by Anthropic, researches and drafts each one from pages it opens and reads. New articles list those pages as their sources and carry a note saying AI helped write them. Every new article passes automated checks before it is published: every listed source was opened while it was written, every picture is credited, it is not a near-copy of another of our articles, and it carries its AI note and any trademark notice. No person reads each article before it is published, so we rely on readers to tell us about mistakes, and we correct confirmed ones promptly.

Accuracy and sources

We try to rely on primary sources, books, official records, established reference works and peer-reviewed research. Where experts disagree, or evidence is uncertain, we say so. Rankings and “best of” lists are fan opinion and are presented as opinion. We avoid inventing quotes, statistics or sources, and we would rather leave a detail out than guess it.

Corrections

If you find an error, email [email protected] with the page address and what you think is wrong. We check every report and correct confirmed mistakes promptly. Significant corrections are noted on the article.

Originality and quotation

We write our own text. We paraphrase, and we quote only short passages when needed to make a point about a work. We do not copy articles, books, lyrics or other people’s writing, and we do not host copyrighted books, films or comics.

Images and credits

Pictures on article pages come from free-licence collections such as Wikimedia Commons, NASA, Openverse, Unsplash and Pexels, and each carries a credit line with its source and licence. Some show what the article discusses; others only illustrate it. Illustrations and artwork inside our interactive experiences are created for us. We do not use official artwork, logos, film stills or match footage.

Unofficial site and trademarks

Your Daily Science is an independent fan site. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by the creators, studios, publishers, clubs or organisations it discusses. All trademarks and names belong to their owners and are used only to identify the subject being discussed.

Advertising

This site is set up to show ads served by Google AdSense. Advertisers do not influence what we write, and we choose topics and conclusions independently. We do not currently publish sponsored articles. If that changes, sponsored content will be clearly labelled. See our privacy policy for how advertising cookies work.

AI features

Some experiences include an AI companion or guide, always labelled as AI. Its answers are generated automatically, can contain mistakes, and are for entertainment and general interest. They are not professional advice of any kind.
